Design Services and Pre-Press
Our knowledgeable sales people and our highly creative and experience in-house artists and engineers stand ready to assist with custom artwork for your project. We can take an existing design, concept, idea or functional need and turn it into a unique package. Working with the latest technology we guide and assist customers through every step of the process from concept to finished package. In 2005 we installed the Kodak Workflow System permitting Independent Can Company to provide all separations of our customer's artwork. This system will allow us to provide proofing for approval in full preparation for plate making.

Independent Can is a quality oriented, full-service metal lithographer with multiple printing presses as well as thermal and UV coaters. In late 2004 Independent Can Company installed the Metalstar II, a six-color printing press that is the first of its kind in the western hemisphere. This press is capable of fine detail and brilliant color as well as high-speed efficiency. We are a leader in flat sheet metal lithography. The International Metal Decorator's Association awarded Independent Can Company the prestigious “Grand Award” in 2005 for its superb craftsmanship in metal lithography.

All entries were evaluated by an impartial committee of judges. Criteria for evaluation included the quality of the printing, the degree of difficulty, the appearance of the coating finishes, registration, and the technical expertise required for each piece. Judging was held in Chicago and the winners announced on May 18th, 2006. |
