Wagner Spot Coater
(Experience Required)
The Lithography Division of Independent Can Company, a metal decorator located in Belcamp, (Harford County) Maryland, is seeking an experienced Coater Operator. The successful candidate will be responsible for set up and operation of the Wagner Spot Coater. The Operator is responsible for the application of coatings and varnishes to metal sheets that are cured through an LTG oven. In addition, the Operator will be responsible for monitoring of the coater film weights and registration of various coatings. This is an hourly non-exempt position subject to overtime and reports to the Lithography Supervisor. This person should have good mechanical and problem-solving skills.
FACILITY/PLANT ENGINEER(Supervisory Experience a Plus) Independent Can Company, Belcamp, (Harford County) Maryland, a successful family-owned Can Manufacturer and Metal Decorator, is seeking a Facility/Plant Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate must be a self-starter with excellent communication skills. This individual must have strong analytical, problem solving and teamwork skills, as he/she will be required to interface with all plant departments including Production, Engineering, Purchasing, Administration, and Sales. He/she must have the skills and ability to develop and manage the facility maintenance team. Key responsibilities include, Project Management, Process Improvement, vendor and equipment sourcing. Domestic and international travel may be required. Successful candidate must reside in the United States. This position requires a four-year degree and someone who is proactive and willing to commit the hours necessary to meet the customers’ needs. This position offers above average pay and benefits including employee profit sharing and an individual 401(k) option. Relocation assistance may be possible.
